About the Mineral County Clerk-Treasurer
The Mineral County Clerk-Treasurer is responsible for the collection and processing of all County revenues, including real property taxes; local government banking and investment functions; processing and maintaining records of the County Industrial Park and Airport Hangar leases; issuing marriage licenses.
The Clerk-Treasurer also serves as the County Room Tax Administrator; Clerk to the Fifth Judicial District Court; Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners; Welfare and Social Services Director; Clerk to the County Board of Equalization; Ex-Officio Registrar of Voters (Elections); Ex-Officio Public Guardian; U.S. Passports Acceptance Agent.
